World Cancer Day – Prevention of cancer

February 4 is World Cancer Day – an opportunity to realize that early and appropriate screening can significantly reduce the risk of developing cancer. Besides diseases of the cardiovascular system, cancer is one of the most frequent causes of death in Germany. Every fourth person now dies of a malignant tumour disease – and the trend is rising.
