Should you have any further questions regarding data protection , you can contact our data protection officer at dsb∂hanako-health.com
1. Personal data and their use
a) When visiting the website
When you visit our website www.hanako-health.com, the browser on your device automatically sends information to the server on our website. This information is temporarily stored in a log file. The following information is recorded without your intervention and stored until it is automatically deleted after 30 days:
- IP address of the requesting computer,
- date and time of access,
- Name and URL of the retrieved file,
- Website from which access is made (referrer URL),
- the browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider.
The mentioned data will be processed by us for the following purposes:
- Ensuring a problem-free connection of the website,
- Ensuring comfortable use of our website,
- evaluation of system security and stability as well as
- for other administrative purposes.
The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes listed above for data collection. Under no circumstances do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about you personally.
b) Using our contact form
If you have any questions, we offer you the opportunity to contact us using the form provided on the website. Your name and a valid e-mail address are required so that we know who sent the request and can respond to it.
The data will be processed for the purpose of contacting us in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 S. 1 lit. a GDPR on the basis of your voluntary consent.
The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be automatically deleted after your request has been processed.
c) Participating in a health assessment or a health check
We have compiled the most important information on data protection and data security here in the form of FAQs.
Data processing takes place in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a GDPR on the basis of your voluntary consent.
We send our newsletter only with the consent of the recipient. By subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to the receipt and the described procedures.
Our newsletter contains information about us, our news, services, products and topics relevant to us.
The registration to our newsletter takes place in the so-called “Double-Opt-In-Procedure”. This means that you will receive an e-mail after your registration in which you will be asked to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that nobody can register with external e-mail addresses. The registration for the newsletter is logged in order to be able to prove the registration process according to the legal requirements. This includes the storage of the registration and confirmation time as well as the IP address. Likewise changes of the data stored with the dispatch service provider are logged.
The registration is recorded on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR in order to enable us to provide proof of consent.
These registration data will be deleted 30 days after unsubscribing from our newsletter.
The dispatch of the newsletter and the performance measurement associated with it is based on the consent of the recipients pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a, Art. 7 GDPR in conjunction with § 7 Para. 2 No. 3 UWG or on legal permission pursuant to § 7 Para. 3 UWG.
The sending service provider can use the recipient’s data in pseudonymous form, i.e. without allocation to a user, to optimise or improve its own services, e.g. for technical optimisation of dispatch and the presentation of the newsletter or for statistical purposes. However, the dispatch service provider does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or to pass the data on to third parties.
d) Performance measurement
The newsletter contains a so-called “web beacon”, i.e. a file the size of a pixel, which is retrieved from the server of our dispatch service provider when the newsletter is opened. During this retrieval, technical information such as information on the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and time of retrieval are collected.
This information is used by our shipping service provider to technically improve the services on the basis of technical data or target groups and their reading behaviour on the basis of retrieval locations (which can be determined with the help of the IP address) or access times. The statistical surveys also include determining whether the newsletter was opened, when it was opened and which links were clicked. This information can be assigned to individual readers for technical reasons.
Our interest does not lie in the observation of individual readers. This information helps us to recognize the habits of our readers, to adapt our content to them and to send different content according to the interests of our readers.
e) Termination / revocation
You can unsubscribe at any time, for example via a link at the end of each newsletter. Alternatively, you can also send your unsubscribe request to info∂hanako-health.com by e-mail at any time.
3. Disclosure of data
Your personal data will not be transmitted to third parties for purposes other than those listed below.
We will only pass on your personal data to third parties if:
- you have given your express consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 S 1 lit. a GDPR,
- the disclosure pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 S. 1 f GDPR is necessary to assert, exercise or defend legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in not disclosing your data,
- in the event that a legal obligation exists for the transfer pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 S. 1 lit. c GDPR, and
- this is legally permissible and necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 S. 1 lit. b GDPR.
Information is stored in the cookie that results in each case in connection with the specifically used terminal device. However, this does not mean that we immediately become aware of your identity.
In addition, we also use temporary cookies that are stored on your end device for a specified period of time to optimize user-friendliness. If you visit our site again to use our services, it will automatically recognize that you have already been with us and what entries and settings you have made so that you do not have to enter them again.

The tracking measures listed below and used by us are carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 S 1 f GDPR. With the tracking measures used, we want to ensure that our website is designed to meet requirements and is continually optimised. On the other hand, we use the tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimising our offer. These interests are to be regarded as legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned provision.
The respective data processing purposes and data categories can be found in the corresponding tracking tools.
a) Google Analytics
For the purpose of demand-oriented design and continuous optimization of our pages, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/ ) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter “Google”). In this context, pseudonymised user profiles are created and cookies (see point 4) are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website such as
- Browser type/version,
- the operating system used
- Referrer URL (the previously visited page),
- Host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
- Time of the server request
are transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide further services associated with the use of the website and the Internet for the purposes of market research and demand-oriented design of these Internet pages. This information may also be transferred to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of the company. Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with other data from Google. The IP addresses are anonymized so that an assignment is not possible (IP masking).
You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing a browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en ).
Further information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics can be found in the Google Analytics Help (https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en).
b) Google Adwords Conversion Tracking
We also use Google Conversion Tracking to statistically record and evaluate the use of our website for the purpose of optimising it for you. Google Adwords will set a cookie (see section 3) on your computer if you have accessed our website via a Google ad.
These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the Adwords customer’s website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user has clicked on the ad and has been redirected to this page.
Each Adwords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be traced via the websites of Adwords customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for Adwords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Adwords customers see the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, you will not receive any information that personally identifies users.
6. Social Media
We do not use social media plug-ins on our website. Pages of our website with links to social media websites (e.g. Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn or XING) do not establish a connection to the servers of the respective operators. Only after they have been activated will you be redirected to the website of the respective operator.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to obtain information about the personal data concerning you. You may also request that incorrect data be corrected.
In addition, under certain conditions you have the right to delete data, the right to restrict data processing and the right to data transfer.
You also have the right to complain to the competent data protection supervisory authority if you are of the opinion that your personal data is not being processed lawfully.
